The Story of Aces
I'm Alexia, the owner of Aces Event Planning. Believe it or not, I actually went to college with the goal of planning spectacular celebrations. A thousand moons ago, in my third event planning internship, I grew several planters of grass to make the most immersive seating chart for a garden themed fundraiser. Even more moons ago I planned the first student run talent show at my middle school (yes, I'm still holding onto that one) and ensured the microphone height for each act was just right making a comprehensive chart for the stage crew. I once spent over 20+ hours developing a design for 10 unique centerpieces that not only looked cohesive but represented my clients' precious love story. While I continue to obsess over the small details, there's something extremely important that I learned over the years.
I celebrate St. Patricks Day with a neighborhood party where kids design their own parade floats. I decorate my home for Dr. Seuss week because I have 2 young sons and reading is cool. I truly believe that you can celebrate everything because... why not? The small details make the big picture - course! However, my passion is ensuring that we create memories not just pretty parties.
